MORE ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP:
This workshop will provide you with an introduction to the basic skills in writing documents in Easy English. Techniques to make your written language accessible will be explored.

WORKSHOP CONTENT:
It covers topics such as:
 what is Easy English and who is it for?
 the difference between plain language and Easy English
 how to use our Easy English Style Guide: Clear Written Communications (a copy is provided at the workshop)
 the importance of consumer testing
 why communications need to be accessible.

We recommend participants bring at least one document they would like to develop into Easy English during the workshop - under the guidance of our expert trainer. Please bring a document with you, such as a letter, brochure, flyer or fact sheet.  This will ensure you get the best results from the day. Though the document can be a printed copy, previous participants often prefer a digital copy to edit on their device of choice.
